Chemical Resurfacing is anything that dissolves either the skin cells or the structures around them.
Superficial Peel: Contains mainly AHA’s and BHA’s which work by mimicking the skin’s enzymes which are responsible for desquamation eg. Skinician’s enzyme peel.
Deeper Peel: These are designed to cause mild to severe inflammation. This switches on the wound healing process, kick-starting the regrowth of the skin in both the dermis and the epidermis, resulting in smoother, plumped skin with less visible ageing.

There are 4 levels of intensity of this peel. Your level will be decided by your therapist according to your skin condition and tolerance levels.

A four-week course of one treatment a week is recommended for optimum results. This is followed by a complementary revitalising facial on the fifth week. Block booking is recommended.
